Day
One - Arrive Dover
 Arrive at Dover Ferry Port anytime to suit you and we will meet you so you have no need to bring your car. We will transfer you to your cosy hotel in a nearby village that sits on top of the cliffs. Settle in and enjoy England!
Day
Two - Dover to Sandwich

miles (16km)
 Your host will meet you after breakfast with your cycling equipment and run through your tour itinerary. Then you are off - to freewheel down to the characterful old ports of Deal and Sandwich. Cycle adjacent to the shore, take in the castles, and explore the fascinating history of these Cinque port towns. Your overnight stop is an old inn in the heart of beautiful Sandwich.

Three - Sandwich to Canterbury

Pedal through orchards and pretty villages today and you will discover wonderful pubs and Roman antiquities. Your route leads you traffic free into the heart of Canterbury where your hotel awaits you.

Four - Canterbury to Herne Bay

Take a long morning to explore this astounding heritage city with its magnificent cathedral, and many museums.Then pedal along the old Crab and Winkle railway line to Whistable and savour its famous oysters. There's a bustling harbour here and some cute shops to explore too. The final few miles today are magical - right beside the sea.

Five - Herne Bay to Broadstairs

 This is idyllic safe cycling along the seashore and the dramatic chalk cliffs. There are sandy beaches, a Roman Fort and a long sea wall for you to ride along. As you arrive in Broadstairs with its seven lovely bays you discover an unspoilt town with a traditional sweet shop and fisherman's cottages. We love our hotel choice here which faces the sea .
Day Six– Broadstairs to Deal

 Today is a leisurely ride packed with variety. Cycle along the cliffs and take in Ramsgate with its enticing mix of maritime history and Royal harbour. Then head inland through tiny hamlets and ride the old cycle path taken by the miners on their way to the former coal pits. Your journey ends in Deal, beside the sea with a last chance to enjoy the pier and explore the castle.

- Depart Deal
Just a short distance from Dover, Deal has frequent trains to the ferry port or to Canterbury and London.

Day One - Arrive Canterbury
 Arrive in Canterbury and check into your hotel in the heart of the city. There's so much to explore in this astounding heritage city with its magnificent cathedral, and many museums.
At a time to suit you make your way to our base a few minutes walk away, which is open from 10.00 to 17.30 every day, to pick up your cycling equipment. Your host will also meet you to run through your itinerary and to familiarize you with the route
Day Two - Canterbury to Herne Bay

 Leave Canterbury by pedaling along the old Crab and Winkle railway line to Whistable and savour its famous oysters. There's a bustling harbour here and some cute shops to explore too. Then take a magical ride right beside the sea to your overnight stop.

Take the morning to fully enjoy Broadstairs Then cycle along the cliffs and take in Ramsgate with its enticing mix of maritime history and Royal harbour. Something quite different awaits you at Sandwich - a Cinque port and medieval town full of old timbered buildings. Your stop for the next two nights is in the heart of the town in an old inn.
Day Five - Sandwich to Deal and Back
13 miles or more (21km)
 This circular route heads inland through tiny hamlets and you ride the old cycle path taken by the miners on their way to the former coal pits. Discover the fascinating history of Deal with its pier and charm and cycle adjacent to the shore, to take in the Cinque castles. Head back to Sandwich on a route through the dunes.
Day Six– Sandwich to Canterbury
17 miles (27km)
 Pedal through orchards and pretty villages today and you will discover wonderful pubs and Roman antiquities. Your journey end leads you traffic free into the heart of Canterbury where your hotel awaits you.
Day Seven - Depart Canterbury
Enjoy Canterbury and depart at your leisure.
