The bicycle comes either in a step through model or with a cross bar. It has three levels of assistance so you can choose how hard you want it to work or you can pedal without the power. Switch on and the power comes in as the pedals are turned. This provides a very natural feel to the bicycle and ensures you are in control at all times. Brake levers are fitted with an in-built safety switch that automatically cuts off the motor power under normal braking conditions. So you will enjoy safe unpowered stopping, and the motor won't work against the brakes. On full charge, the bicycle will run for up to 50 miles depending on road conditions.
The hire cost of bikes is as follows. Additional bikes can be provided and as with all our tours, you are responsible for the bike for the duration of your tour.
