Cycling holidays in Dorset & The New Forest

Our cycling adventures in Dorset & The New Forest are the best way to enjoy everything this beautiful and unspoilt area has to offer. In the New Forest National Park, animals may freely graze on the lowland heaths, forests and open pastureland. Many of our bike routes use the large network of woodland trails and also pass along disused railway lines - both of which provide great traffic-free cycling. Coupled with the fact that the land is relatively flat, this is an ideal destination for families. The area boasts an astonishing variety in terms of landscape: added to the forests and woodlands, there are breath taking beaches with charming brightly-coloured huts, nature reserves, coastal towns where you can ride along the cliff tops, and mile upon mile of protected rural Dorset countryside and coastline.

The region is rich with maritime history and there is lots of opportunity to do some ferry hopping between the mainland and islands. Many of our tours include a ferry ride or two. Salisbury and Stonehenge are not too far away either. These two utterly fascinating places can be reached by the attractive Avon valley and the less visited but equally delightful northern area of the New Forest National Park.
