This is a very pretty area in the heart of England which is known for its honey coloured idyllic villages and its lovely wolds (hills) and valleys. The spine of the Cotswolds runs south west to north east through six counties, particularly Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. It is rightfully designated as an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is more mellow and more chocolate box than Devon! The cycling is almost all on minor roads and there are some hills. We’ve spent a lot of time finding routes that minimise the slopes and maximise your time in the many idyllic villages and historic towns. Natural wonders include rivers, woodlands and of course the marvellous vistas.
