About Us and Our Tours
We are a family run business now in our 25th year of offering gentle holidays. As a family, we have enjoyed exploring England and as we continue to expand our tours we always ask ourselves if this is how we ourselves would like our holidays to be. Sharing with you the rich history and culture of England, arranging stays in wonderful hotels and inns and always being on hand are the cornerstones of Capital Sport.
We have a lot of fun getting to know our clients and we benefit from delightful and enthusiastic colleagues. Between us we have lived, cycled, walked and enjoyed boating in all the areas where we have tours. Some of our current exploits, thoughts and diversions are recorded on our blog.
Our routes are original and have been created and honed by us over a number of years. We think they are pretty special and customers do too as they frequently tell us how much they have enjoyed them. So we look forward to meeting you and looking after you and above all sharing the wonderful sights and experiences we love so much.

- For cycling tours, quality hybrid bikes, traffic free routes and absolutely no main roads
- Self-guided itineraries allowing you and your party to travel at your own pace
- A bespoke service to include additional nights and activities, days off, guides and van support
- High quality accommodation with a choice of either luxury hotels on our Finest tours or Classic accommodation in hand picked inns, small hotels and private houses. Routes are identical for both types of tour
- Our personal service with a host to welcome you, share their local knowledge, look after you and move your luggage
- Emergency call out service
- Tours that start from towns with excellent rail links. If you prefer to arrive by car we can advise you on suitable parking.
- Safeguarding of your payment to us until your holiday is completed through our bonding with the Travel Trust Association.
- Any tour can be taken in any week subject to availability. However, some tours start on specific days of the week. Tours can be booked on other days but this will incur a cost.
